August 4, 2015

It was…a gentle morning, a typical morning, until I played some Dio, then it became quite the energetic morning.  Shower and off to supervision where I wrote my first official “Letter” in regards to a client.  It was quite fancy, with bullet points and everything.

I decided that  for every step forward at work, I make two to either side, then three steps back.  It’s more like I’m doing the cha-cha at work, rather than making noticeable progress, yet I realize this is normal in our line of work and am amazed that I am able to understand concepts, given the learning curve.

Left work to bring my youngest in for immunizations.  The entire way to Folsom, I was unable to say more than “HI!!!  How ARE you???” <about 4 times> because I was listening to the audiobook in the car and had to speak succinctly.    I got this audiobook primarily for the gym and have yet to listen to it there (other than last night’s 47 minute cardio workout).  I can’t DO anything while I listen to these thrillers (other than lose shit…last night the bus keys, today >>you'll see) because I’m too focused on what is being said.  Maggie did well, but me?  I lost my last Mother Hips water bottle somehow.  This is bad.

I had my last appointment with a client today.  I’ll miss this kid..they are moving out of town neat week,  yet…somehow, I have the feeling I may see him again in the future.  We shall see.

Headed home – ate a delicious wild-caught something or other with leftover saffron rice and crisp broccoli.  Then I made nachos for dessert <palmface>

Pictures: Ms. Swan at the Lego set my client and I built her; The book I read to Mags while we waited for immunization; A beautiful sky.
