Still is still a mess here, books are stacked into shelves
rather than organized – and let’s be honest, that’s the biggest deal to me –
but I miss writing and connecting with words, so here is a mini-5aD:
The morning was beautiful – I had slept so long and I enjoy
waking up to darkness. As stated before,
Darkness comforts me. I met a neighbor
as I was about to leave for my Long day At Work, who said that she gets reports
from animal control for her dog if he is left out and that yes, my dogs did
bark, so I put them inside for the Long Day.
My first client was at the school and the principal finally
understood that if I don’t have clients there, I don’t get paid. Non-profits don’t have a lot of money to
blow.
After the client, I stopped by The Bookery, since the school
is in my old neighborhood, to see if they had Cliff’s Notes on Atlas
Shrugged. No such luck, but I purchased a
book on Ayn Rand and Objectivism. Why the
hell not confuse the brain cells even
more?
After this I stopped by Walmart to get the Genie Bra. The underwire misery has got to end. Unfortunately,
as I later discovered, while the cup size was fine, it is too tight around my
body and that was worse than the underwire, so the red bra from hell went on
again and my genie went back in its bottle.
I’ll exchange it tomorrow for a larger size as well as start yoga again tomorrow morning. I can’t eat my way down in bra size, so I need
to start the work again so I stop the eating.
L helped me (via phone) get the VCR working and I heard that lovely
meditative sitar. I also asked Nicole if
she could do something with my hair that would make my boobs look smaller. She commented that was an unusual request.
Last night of the parent group tonight and I was given a
lovely poinsettia plant from a couple along with a card. This group of parents has been amazing and it
was a terrific three months. At home, I
noticed no dog pee anywhere and my new neighbor had said she would be happy to
let the dogs out for me on long work
days, so that’s good. We can set
something up. Now for bed.
