I was up until midnight last night…how the hell did I manage that one?  Sleep is what I look forward to from about 6:01 a.m., (my alarm is currently set for 6).  Must have been some interesting new stories last night.

Apparently I got a raise which is retroactive to last July.It isn’t a huge one, but a nice little sum to help with the Texas road trip.  Add to that a little more vacation time, a little more on health (I’ll still have the cheapest plan there is, so it won’t matter much).  Remember – the “summers that I have off”, I don’t get paid for, so every little bit helps.  TERRIFIC NEWS!  My friend Victoria offered to let me stay in her room at the phoenix with all the other Hipsters, so I’ll be two blocks away!  YAY!!!!!

After work, back to New Morning to see about Live Scan and TB – it’ll wait  til next week or before school starts back up again.  Then a million more things to do – well, 2:  An outfit for the Great American Music Hall Saturday show –I fulfilled a dream!  A groovy black pant suit that I can wear with my Oscar de la Renta blouse-thingie which I inherited from my mother.  I think it’s kinda rad.  I also needed to pay for Something for The Boy which I will pick up on the 24^th while he bikes to pick up Something I got for The Girl.  It’s a great plan.

Once at home, I started straightening and pseudo-cleaning, but honestly?  It won’t get done properly.  I am exhausted and am surprised I manage this every night.  I have class tomorrow night (which I still dread and oh golly, I forgot I still have homework…)

And on that note, apparently my 5^th post is about having to go finish homework.  <thumbs up, right?>
