I watched 13 episodes of The Office last night and have found
my happy place. My next goal is to work
at a place where there is a cute, available guy so we can flirt for several
seasons before we get involved. I will
not, however, marry said-guy as I am thinking that just being in a long-term
relationship is best. Unless he has
great health insurance…but then, I’d be working there too and probably have the
same insurance so.. back to the first idea.
My body hurts so badly…I am like a half run-over armadillo. I have something on the right
lower side of my back which paralyzes me for a half a minute until the pain
passes and am not pretty to look at. Got on the roller this morning for my calves –
works like a charm but hurts like a bitch.
Later, I was playing some CRB in the music center and signaled for Mabi
to jump up into my arms. Her dew claw
(the inner claw) was so sharp it sliced me up on my arm, neck, shoulder…. I look like I was in a knife fight and
lost.
Home Depot was on my list so I could get soil, trellises and
grapes for the front of the house. I
also purchased a variety of greens, strawberries, parsley and mint, and will
have my first lettuce garden (red, romaine and kale)! It was nice being outside and working. The dogs weren’t very happy about not going
on a walk, but they got a lot of adventuring yesterday. I’ll have to figure out why the lawn
mower died on me a month ago and hope it’s
an easy repair, like a spark plug or clogged air filter (as if I know how to do
those repairs, but dadgummit, I’m
gonna try).
Took a hot bath in Epsom salt again and then sat down to
more The Office shows on Netlix. This four
day weekend has been wonderful and I would love to have more of them throughout
the year. I’ll start a FundIt campaign.
Bike riding and post-Valentine’s Day lunch (per Maggie’s
request) tomorrow. It cost L. $105
dollars to fix Ethan’s bike – though I have no idea why it cost that much. I
will turn on and then wrap Ethan’s gift tomorrow before I go to pick them
up. He is going to be so
thrilled!! The raddest thing? I have excellent leverage now – <smile>.
Pictures: Trellises with grapes, which will provide shade and grapes!!; My first lettuce garden; Annie like's The Office, too.
