Yesterday must’ve been really bad, because I blocked out the whole morning.  I barely remember getting up, enjoying the fact that it was a Saturday and I could sleep in.   The coffee was a little too strong, the morning a little too..whatever.  It was..-sigh-..time to get to school work.

 I jumped right in, both feet and about 6 fingers.  I finished the first paper and prepared myself for my interview.    It was a journey…I remember from my own dad how multifaceted lives are.  There is something about the generation I was interviewing which is simply amazing.  It was a very good interview (due to the subject) and I got busy trying to get that one sorted.. but first, I needed a nap.  Seriously, –even after coffee, once I got back,  I took one.

After I awoke, I got busy writing and finished this paper.  Bam! Two done!  I got busy on the Big Paper…and my brain frizzled.  I had a bout a page written when I shut things down to make lunch or dinner or something.  And Then There Were None. <my tribute to Agatha Christie> Well, the first paper was there, but that’s it.  I couldn’t find the other two anywhere.  I searched high and low, even texted my computer guy.  After an hour or so, I was able to find the interview, which made me happy, but the paper was nowhere…not even my computer guy could find it, and he is amazing. So I watched some Office and ate far too many Snicker’s bars as payback to that stupid asshole paper (the little Snicker’s bars, but still…). <please note my angry language>

I think Mabi is really annoyed with me – though I’ve been throwing the ball for her all day in my room.  I promised her we’d go for a walk when I finished the paper I ended up losing, so that never happened.  Annie is sleeping and seems to be healing very well.

I am also looking still for vacation spots. I’m terrified of doing this as I’ve never planned anything like this before and I want it to be perfect, but cost effective.   I found a spot in Belize which is rad, but I think I’d have to set up the flights and everything on my own.  I’ll talk to AAA. Talk about Gold Plated Problems.

I'm holding space for a family today.  Today marks a horrible, horrible day for them and I'm keeping them in my thoughts.  <3
