10:46. That was the
time on my clock when I work up. No idea
why I slept so long…
…And sadly the day didn’t progress much from there. I sat, I read, I managed to get a few things
put away here and there, and did two half loads of laundry (it sounds like more
than 1 full load - reframing). After an
hour of looking for a cleaning/downsizing list on Facebook, I gave up and went
in for another nap.
It was while lying there that I felt a tiny atom of energy somewhere
in my quadriceps, so not one to let the surge of energy pass me by, I got
dressed and headed to the gym. 20
minutes on the cardio machine, using the roller on my knees and calves, then squats,
then yoga. After an hour I wanted to throw
up, but it passed in minutes. I’m looking
forward to getting some energy back.
At home I talked to Brent a bit – he goes to the gym at 4 in the morning,
so that can’t happen. 5:13 was early enough with my yoga a few
years ago. Cooked up some Indian food
for dinner, and decided against Trader Joe’s.
I’ll wait to see what Jake suggests I put on my shopping list. It was nice to read a letter from an older
lady at the gym who found a great deal of success with Jake’s help.
After watching a few Arrested Developments (I have biases
against wealthy people) & half of Portlandia
(Too weird, even for Portland), I rented Will Ferrell in “Blades of Glory.” WHY
is nothing laugh-outloud funny!?!?! I
feel stuck <as I eat leftover Mike & Ikes from last Halloween>
