August 18, 2015

Early wake-up time because of a training session at work today.  I looked up work in Switzerland.  I’m worrying that it shan’t work out and I’ll have to come back.  Negative talk in my head.  Not good.

It wasn’t too hot as I left the house…yet. Mandala work showed me I have some issue to work on – because I swear it began as geometric shapes!!   It morphed into a lotus flower and before I knew it, there was a vagina staring me in the face.  Hmmm. "before I knew it, there was a vagina staring me in the face."  Not a very common phrase for me.

By the time it was lunch, the temps were in the mid 90s.  We all jumped in Jannette’s van and headed to a Mexican place.  I got the chicken taco bowl.  Yes, you read that correctly.  I messed up by not asking them to hold the rice, but we learn.  I think (and oh, god I really hate saying this) – I think Chipotle would have been a better-tasting, healthier choice.  I hope Quetzalcoatl doesn’t strike me down.

Back for the ending of the day and a guided meditation.  I lay on the floor, my back killing me and was thinking about everything but what she was speaking about.  I swear the meditation guide said to “envision you favorite sink,” so I thought of a nice Kohler cast-iron sink…with a Moen faucet.

Home in the 100 degree plus heat and into my workout clothes.  My Octane machine was in use, so I began with warmups and stretches and did my workout first.  When I do the squat with the kettlebell, it is not pretty to see…but when I’m doing squats with the TRX bands?  Ha-haaa…the tone is beginning.   No nudist beaches yet, but the change is underway.  Yesterday, there was this beautiful woman in here, and I shall describe her:  She was in her 80s, at least, in her lovely pale blue skirt with a matching flowery top and a colored striped belt which she took off as soon as she was finished,  so it must have been for support  somehow.  She wore lovely beige pumps with a wedge heel and atop her head sat a straw brimmed  hat with a veiled bow.  Absolutely charming beyond words.  She had the weight belt strapped around her and she stepped forward and backward lifting the weights.  She was AWESOME.

I came home and took my pups out to the park.  The temp was still high, but the whole grassy area was shaded due to the tree.  Mabi ran her little heart out..and Annie supported her, tongue flopping in the air and occasionally leaping over Mabi as she ran. Home,  bath in 35% H2O2 wearing a clay mask on my face.  I am feeling quite close to nature.  Then grass fed beef chili with cheese (no beans, ‘cause that ain’t real chili) and organizing which Scooby Doo characters suit members of our work group with my supervisor.  It’s the important shit like this that keeps us sane.  Love this work site.

Pics 'n flicks:  My Vag-ala; Charcoal white on black paper made for a nice effect; My Sweet Janette wrote this word to describe me (!!)<happy face>; Post work out;  Mabes and Annie at the park.
