August 21, 2014

● 4th day of 5:30 a.m. yoga – it is coming back.  Fun tradition of “Hide the Inuit” and Mags discovered where Ethan hide him:  dangling from the pull chain from the kitchen-stained-glass-hanging-light.  Had to whip up a batch of more hot sauce for our lunches, so that’s what I did.

● Work was exceedingly interesting: yoga (!!), IEP and more revolving-door drama.  Oh these kids…I wish-wish-wish there was a way to get it through to them….

● Off to pick up the kids…home ever-so-briefly.  Ethan proudly showed me a LOUD firecracker made from pulverized matches (tips) which exploded LOUDLY.  Damn Austrian videos are gonna get me in trouble with the local PD.

● School was good – easy final (wish I’d studied a bit, but I gave myself a 73, which will end up being an 88).  We watched a movie I need to continue called “Whore’s Glory”, a documentary filmed by an Austrian (!!) in 3 countries Thailand, Bangladesh, and Mexico.  Holy shit.

● Arrived at home to see Maggie finishing up cooking the lunch burritos solo (a job for both).  Ethan sitting at the Mac on math question 4 (out of 15 and he understood none of it).  Seems he had been busy making additional firecrackers and will now get a zero on his homework because I can’t help him and he refused me having Stephanie call him (as he tells me he couldn’t do his math while I’m driving home).  Consequences can be good or bad:  His will include not having a friend over as he had planned and doing something like helping me do yard work.  Good for me, bad for him.  Bummer, dude.  Should’ve focused on your math.

Picture: Yoga shot post-the-actual yoga at work, 'cause, really?  How peaceful is iPhone shooting during uttanasana??
